MEET DAN STRAKAL

Dr. Dan Strakal has been an expert on the changing workplace, business management, and career transition for nearly 20 years.  He has held several executive positions and hiring manager positions in industry and government as well as high-level administrator and faculty positions in higher education including:

• Team Leader at Accenture Ltd., the world's largest management and technology consulting firm with more than 100 offices in 50 countries and over 133,000 employees
• Senior Business Manager at Crowe, Chizek & Company LLC the nation's eighth largest consulting/accounting firm
• Manager of Organizational Learning at PNM Resources, New Mexico's $1.6 billion dollar premier energy and utility company
• Program Manager within Rockwell International's Top Secret Government Contracting Division
• Assistant Director for Technical Careers at the University of Notre Dame
• Visiting Assistant Professor at Oklahoma State University

Dan is also the host and producer of the syndicated weekly talk radio program Business Buzz With Dr. Dan where listeners learn strategies to take their businesses and careers to the next level.  He is  the coauthor of Better Job Search in 3 Easy Step and Better Job Skills in 3 Easy Steps:  The Easy Way To Develop Job Skills.  He is the author of a bimonthly column, Strengthening the Client/Company Connection, which contains concise and timely information and ideas to assist corporate and government leaders, educators, and employees to be as productive and successful as possible.   In addition, Dan has written over one hundred business- and career-related articles for a variety of publications.

Now through his coaching and consulting activities, speaking engagements, strategy sessions, and career/business radio talk show he shares these lessons with dozens of organizations and thousands of people each year to balance work, family, and life issues and overcome the challenges and barriers they face in creating satisfying and successful workplaces.

His education includes a Doctorate degree in Adult Learning (Emphasis: Organizational Behavior), a Master's of Education in Training and Human Resource Management, a Master's of Science in Technical/Project Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy.
